UAE President, European Commission President discuss regional developments

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Her Excellency Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, discussed various aspects of cooperation between the UAE and the European Union during a phone call today, and explored ways to further strengthen these ties.The call also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, with a particular emphasis on the latest developments in the Middle East.The two sides also addressed the evolving situation in the Syrian Arab Republic.
