Dubai: The UAE experienced light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday, prompting safety warnings for motorists as wet roads create hazardous driving conditions. Rainfall swept across multiple regions from morning until afternoon, offering a refreshing change in the weather. Areas including Ajman, Qarnain Island, Diynah Island, Sir Abu Nu’Ayr Island, and Das Island saw light showers, while Dubai International Airport and Jebel Ali were also affected. The Al Ruwais, Al Dhafra region experienced rain in the afternoon.
Early morning rain was recorded at Al Ain International Airport and along the Dubai-Al Ain Road, with moderate rainfall hitting Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, Al Khazna, and Sweihan in Al Ain.The coolest temperature of the day was recorded at 2.15am, with a chilly 12.8°C in Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah, marking the lowest point in the country.Looking ahead, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted partly cloudy weather tomorrow, with clouds expected to be heavier in the north, bringing light rainfall in some areas. Humidity will increase overnight, with mist formation likely in some internal regions on Thursday morning. Winds will pick up, with light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly gusts reaching speeds of 10–25 km/h, and occasionally touching 35 km/h.
