Dubai: For families traveling via Dubai International Airport, colorful immigration counters have been set up.
The colorful counters have been painted with images of Expo 2020 mascots Latifa and Rashid, according to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai.
The World’s Greatest Show, Expo 2020 Dubai, begins tomorrow, October 1, and is a six month long event. Latifa, the Expo mascot, is an inquisitive eight-year-old girl who aspires to be one of the world’s greatest inventors. She is a chatty youngster who enjoys disassembling electronics and playing with her chemistry set. She enjoys sharing her expertise and is always seeking for new methods to learn. Rashid, her nine-year-old brother, is passionate about the environment and enjoys poetry, painting, riddles, and family stories. The airport authorities shared pictures of children taking photos along with the mascots in the special counters on Twitter.
