Sharjah City Municipality has announced extended paid public parking hours for the month of Ramadan. Parking fees will be applicable daily from 8 am until midnight.In a move to facilitate worshippers, the municipality has made provisions for free parking in areas around mosques. Parking spaces will be available free of charge for one hour after every Adaan (call for prayer).
This initiative is designed to make it easier for those attending prayers to find convenient parking and promote a smoother flow of traffic during prayer times.Inspection teams from the Public Parking Department will monitor fee compliance and prevent misuse of parking spaces. Additionally, parking areas near mosques will be free for one hour after the call to prayer to accommodate worshippers.The municipality has also announced the operational hours for its service centers, ensuring continuous public service. These hours, listed in both Arabic and English on the municipality’s social media, cover all available services.Neighbourhood parks will be open from 4 pm to midnight, while Al Seyouh Family Park, Al Seyouh Ladies Park, Sharjah National Park, and Al Rolla Park will operate until 1 am.
