Dubai, : Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled its Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2030 during Dubai AI Week, outlining 81 projects aimed at transforming mobility, boosting operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.The strategy focuses on six pillars: people happiness, seamless mobility, intelligent traffic management, cognitive licensing, future-proof organization, and asset excellence. RTA aims to reduce travel time by up to 30%, cut costs by 20%, and increase customer happiness by 35%.“Big data and AI are vital for driving innovation and decision-making,” said H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Director General of RTA. “This strategy aligns with national goals and reinforces our leadership in AI-powered transport solutions.”
With over 40 AI use cases already implemented—including predictive bus maintenance and AI-powered chatbots—RTA continues to lead in smart mobility. The strategy also sets the stage for 45 upcoming AI initiatives and further integration of generative AI into public transport systems.
