RTA Completes Roadworks to Enhance Access to Hatta Souq Roundabout

Dubai,: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed road improvement works near the Hatta Souq Roundabout, enhancing traffic flow and mobility in the area.The project included the construction of a 1 km service road parallel to Dubai-Hatta Road, improving access to Hatta Souq and the Masfut area. Modern lighting and infrastructure upgrades, including relocated utility services, were also implemented.Hamad Al Shehhi, Director of Roads at RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency, highlighted the use of the Irish Crossing system for surface water drainage, ensuring road durability and safety in all weather conditions.
The initiative supports Hatta’s growing tourism appeal while strengthening connectivity with neighbouring areas.
