Dubai,: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) reported a 16% surge in digital revenues for 2024, reaching AED 4.427 billion, driven by nearly 680 million digital transactions, including 13.4 million through smart apps.RTA’s digital transformation efforts, guided by the vision to make Dubai the world’s smartest city, saw a 27.5% rise in registered app users and a 24% increase in parking ticket transactions via mobile apps. Customer satisfaction across digital channels hit an impressive 96%.“We are committed to leveraging AI and smart technologies to deliver seamless, integrated services that enhance quality of life,” said His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of RTA.Major updates included revamped apps like S’hail, expanded AI-powered chatbot Mahboub, and new smart kiosk installations. RTA also integrated services with the ‘Dubai Now’ app and partners like Dubai Municipality and the Central Bank, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital innovation and mobility.
