SHARJAH: Reading imparts knowledge. But what if you get an award for reading? “Alleem Books Publishers” has come up with a very interesting announcement for readers.
With the aim of finding the best readers from all over the world, this award is prepared by UAE. Dr. Rashid Alleem is the Knowledge Ambassador and Chairman of Alleem Books. He is also the Chairman of the Sharjah Electric and Water Authority.
Authors receive a variety of awards, but the readers are the ones who make them worthy of the awards. Reading is the light of knowledge. Reading is more than just a hobby, it is a means of improving mental health. Having an ability to read is itself a talent. There is a wide diversity in every reading material be it books, news, etc. Each piece of art may have been awakened from the diverse thoughts of its creator. For the people enjoying the art, it is never a small thing to enjoy every work of art knowing its true ideas.
Alleem Books Publishers will announce the best readers in the world on April 23, World Book Day, next year. We may have seen people around us who are addicted to reading, who find something to read even in a small piece of paper. That may even be us. You can approach yourself or any of the readers you know for this award. Reading comes in many forms and many people enjoy writing in many different ways. Some may be interested in history while others may be interested in experiences or interested in seeing the world through travelogues. Some may be a fast reader and some may even be interested in modern e-reading and there are many more variants in the kinds of readers. The awardees have come up with a solution to this problem. There are about 30 awards for 30 types of readers and spectators. One can only compete in any of these categories.
Applications for the awards opened from October 1 and will be open until February 28, 2021. This award can be seen as a great opportunity to let the world know about your love of reading.
