Dubai, : Noor Dubai Foundation, in partnership with the AKCAF Association, has launched a Ramadan community initiative, providing free eye screenings and Iftar meals as part of the Year of Community campaign. The initiative reached 666 individuals, distributing 190 reading glasses and serving 6,700 Iftar meals with the help of 227 volunteers.“This partnership reflects our commitment to ensuring quality eye care for all,” said Dr. Manal Taryam, CEO of Noor Dubai Foundation, emphasizing the program’s long-term impact. Paul T Joseph, President of AKCAF Association, praised the collaboration, highlighting its role in facilitating eye screenings and essential surgeries.Supported by West Zone, Al Jaber Optical, and Aloka Eye Clinic, the initiative aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing efforts to improve health, equality, and social welfare.
