Dubai:From April 1, Singapore Airlines announced that passengers will not be allowed to charge power banks using on-board USB ports and use power banks to charge private devices during flights.Power banks will only be allowed to be carried in cabin baggage on all Singapore Airlines flights, while power banks will not be allowed in checked baggage.Passengers can carry power banks with a capacity of up to 100WH without special permission. However, if you want to have power banks between 100Wh and 160Wh, you need special permission from the airline. The power banks are classified as lithium batteries as per the regulations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on hazardous substances, and the Singapore Airlines Group complies with these regulations.
