India Honors UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ with Special Run in Kerala

Kannur, : In a significant tribute to the UAE’s Year of Community, UAE Economy Minister H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri participated in the Year of Community Run in Kerala. The event, part of the 8th Edition of the Kannur Beach Run, highlighted inclusivity, well-being, and India-UAE ties.Minister Al Marri joined the run at the invitation of Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, a leading global healthcare entrepreneur and mentor of the event. The 5KM run, flagged off by Kerala Legislative Assembly Speaker A. N. Shamseer, saw enthusiastic participation from athletes and fitness enthusiasts.“The UAE’s Year of Community aims to foster engagement and social responsibility. I am honored to participate in this initiative with my brother Dr. Shamsheer and the people of Kerala,” Minister Al Marri stated.The event, organized by the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce, attracted over 1,000 participants and featured elite Ethiopian runners. It also served as a platform to strengthen community-driven efforts between India and the UAE, reinforcing the shared spirit of unity and engagement.
