Dubai: As the date to officially begin Expo 2020 is nearing, the Timelapse video of how the magnificent site for the event released by the Expo authorities is gaining massive public attention. In the video of 40 seconds, it shows how an empty desert land becoming the dreamland it is today.
The video showcases the creation of the amazing architecture, which has 21metre tall and 30 metre long entry portals and has the largest 360 degree projection surface in the world. This construction took one million man hours and 14 months of preparation, making it iconic.
Before the video, the official page of Expo 2020 released few photos and videos for promoting the event, including a photo collage showing then and now photos of UAE Vice President at the Expo site in 2016 and 2021. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, Vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai standing in the desert of 2016 and after eight years, him standing at the top of 55 metre garden in the ‘Sky observation tower,’ depicting the years of dedication and labour.
