Dubai’s RTA announces Al Qudra cycling track closure on Sunday

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the temporary closure of cycling tracks in Al Qudra on Sunday, February 16, 2025, for the Desert Race, part of the 9th Al Salam Cycling Championship.
The tracks will be closed from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, according to an update posted by the RTA on X.
Cycling tracks in Al Qudra area will be closed from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM, coinciding with the Women’s Race, as part of the 9th edition of the #AlSalamCyclingChampionship 2024 – 2025, on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The race kicks off at 1:30 PM and will last for 4 hours.The race will begin at 1:30 pm and will run for 4 hours, taking place within the Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve.
