Dubai:Dubai’s luxury transport sector saw a significant 44% increase in trips in 2024, reaching over 43.4 million compared to 30.2 million in 2023, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, attributed this growth to Dubai’s economic momentum and its rising status as a global hub for tourism and investment. The number of passengers using luxury transport services also surged to 75.6 million in 2024, up from 52.6 million in the previous year.E-hail services experienced a 32% rise in trips, with an increase in operating companies from nine to 13 and fleet expansion from 12,602 to 16,396 vehicles.
