Dubai,: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Keolis MHI, has developed an advanced digital platform to enhance passenger experience and improve inspection operations across Dubai Metro and Tram stations. The system streamlines monitoring and automates inspection processes, improving fare compliance and reducing passenger violations, such as the misuse of Gold Class cabins and designated spaces. It enables real-time tracking of inspectors, optimising their deployment based on high-footfall areas and live data analysis, particularly during major events.Since its implementation, the system has led to a 14% increase in inspection rates, improved violation detection, and strengthened passenger compliance. It also supports Dubai’s sustainability goals by optimising resources and reducing environmental impact.Equipped with a dedicated monitoring centre, the platform ensures real-time oversight of ticket inspectors and enhances response times to violations, reinforcing RTA’s commitment to safer and more efficient public transport.
