Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has expanded its Bus-On-Demand service to include Oud Metha and Barsha Heights, responding to growing commuter demand. The move aims to enhance mobility, ease traffic congestion, and offer cost-effective transport at just AED 5 per trip.Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, highlighted the service’s growing popularity, noting its role in improving public transport connectivity. Passengers can book rides via the Dubai-Bus On-Demand app, ensuring seamless, efficient travel.With this expansion, the service now covers 10 key areas, including Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, and Al Barsha, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to smart, accessible transport solutions
