Sharjah: At the 16th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF 2025), young visitors are pinning their hopes and dreams to a vibrant apple tree at the Kiwi Stories Publishing House stall. Inspired by The Dream Factory by Sarah Abdullah and Francesca Filomena, the “wish tree” invites children to share their aspirations — from becoming pilots and doctors to writers and robot-builders.The interactive display, decorated with paper rockets, wooden toys, and apples, encourages creativity and ambition. “Like the rockets, children can aspire to let their dreams fly,” said stall manager Rama Mohammed.Kiwi Stories, founded by Lebanese author Sahar Naja and illustrated by Palestinian artist Baraa Awoor, is showcasing books, themed merchandise, and cultural keepsakes at the festival. The SCRF 2025, held at Expo Centre Sharjah until May 4, hosts 133 guests from 70 countries under the theme “Dive into Books.”
