Dubai: According to H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Expo 2020 Dubai is literally “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future” by offering promising opportunities to foster global partnerships and develop fruitful collaboration among nations.
Sheikh Abdullah made the remarks while touring the Expo 2020 site today, stopping by a number of nation pavilions. Sheikh Abdullah began his trip with a stop at the Opportunity District’s United Kingdom Pavilion. “Innovating for a Shared Future” is the pavilion’s theme. Its design was inspired by a project by the late physicist Stephen Hawking.
Sheikh Abdullah also paid a visit to the Opportunity District’s Ukraine Pavilion, which was themed “Smart Ukraine: Connecting Dots.” He walked around the pavilion’s three zones, which represented Smart Life, Smart Thinking, and Smart Feeling, respectively. He also looked at the pavilion’s exhibits, which included an e-bike that can ride 380 kilometers on a single charge and solar blinds that create electricity.
Sheikh Abdullah visited the France Pavilion in the Mobility District as part of his Expo 2020 Dubai trip. “France, Lightspeed Inspiration” is the subject of the pavilion, which highlights light as a source of inspiration, knowledge, and creativity. Sheikh Abdullah was informed about the “Notre-Dame de Paris, the Experience” during his visit here, which produces immersive, interactive reconstructions for the work done to protect the structure following the 2019 fire, prior to the commencement of reconstruction.
