SHARJAH: The Malayalam edition of the novel Alandapakshi by Tamil writer Perumal Murugan was released by Nisar Syed, Managing Director, Dubai News, to Feroz Abdullah, Executive Director of Airmaster International, at the 39th Sharjah International Book Fair held at Sharjah Expo Centre. Perumal Murugan’s novel has been translated into Malayalam by renowned author Edamon Rajan. The book launch took place in the pavilion of Olive Publications, the publisher of the book.
Alandapakshi is a great reading wonder for those who want to reconcile broken relationships without seeing relationships as bonds. The novel is about the struggles of a farmer family who are forced to flee from the joint family by relatives.
