DUBAI: The Lulu Group received the Dubai Government’s Quality Award for Business Excellence. Lulu was awarded the Business Excellence Award for the Best Retail Brand in the Awards by the Dubai Finance Ministry. Lulu Group Director MA Saleem received the award in a virtual ceremony and the award was presented by Ali Ibrahim, Director General, Dubai Economic Development.
Sheikh Al Bishouri, Director of Business Excellence, James Varghese, Director of Lulu Dubai, and K.P. Thampan, Regional Director, participated in the ceremony. M.A. Yusuff Ali, a Keralite, who is the Chairman of Lulu won the 26th Business Award under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
This award recognizes excellence in a number of criteria, including strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, product value and quality, and employee protection. The Dubai Quality Award is also given to various other sectors and government departments. The Dubai Quality Awards are presented under the supervision of an expert jury, which examines a number of conditions and conditions in accordance with the European Foundation for Quality Management’s Excellence Model. The award was given in recognition of its excellence as a commercial enterprise with an extensive retail system that caters to all sections of the population in Dubai as a whole. MA Salim said the award was a reflection of the dedication, hard work, charisma, and customer acceptance of more than 55,000 employees.
