Sharjah:The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) has partnered with Invest Bank to launch a children’s storybook promoting financial literacy, in collaboration with Onshur, SBA’s publishing sustainability initiative. Aimed at readers aged eight and above, the book will introduce key financial concepts through creative storytelling and is set to debut at the upcoming Sharjah International Book Fair.The agreement was signed during the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival by SBA’s Director of Strategic Initiatives Iman Ben Chaibah and Invest Bank’s Head of Corporate Affairs Humaida Al Khalsan, in the presence of SBA CEO HE Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri and Invest Bank CEO HE Edris Al Rafi.Al Ameri described the initiative as a reflection of Sharjah’s vision to embed books and knowledge into children’s lives, while Al Rafi highlighted the need to equip youth with financial skills from an early age. The book will be published by a UAE-based publisher who is a graduate of the Onshur programme, further supporting the local publishing ecosystem.
