Dubai; Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated a new 985-metre bridge connecting Jumeirah Street to Al Mina Street in the direction of Infinity Bridge. The two-lane bridge, which can carry up to 3,200 vehicles per hour, is part of Phase 4 of the Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project.The new structure aims to ease traffic congestion and cut travel time by 67%, reducing the journey from 12 minutes to just 4. By allowing uninterrupted flow without traffic signals, the bridge enhances connectivity in a key area of the city.Phase 4 also includes five more bridges totaling 3.1 km and additional roadworks spanning 4.8 km, along with intersection upgrades and two new pedestrian bridges. Another major bridge linking Infinity Bridge to Al Wasl Street is set to open in Q2 2025.
