RTA Becomes MENA’s First to Earn BSI Certification in Value Management

Dubai’: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has become the first entity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to receive the BS EN 12973:2020 Value Management System certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).This certification enhances project efficiency, asset management, and decision-making by balancing key Value Management elements, including performance, cost, and risk.Nabil Mohammed Saleh, Director of Assets Management at RTA, highlighted that the certification followed a rigorous audit across all RTA sectors. The process included a gap analysis, corrective actions, and an external BSI audit.
Value Management plays a crucial role in RTA’s sustainability strategy, improving financial stability, operational efficiency, and environmental impact. It also fosters technological innovation, ensuring long-term project viability.
