President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued a decision restructuring the board of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council.The council will be chaired by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, serving as vice-chairman.Established in November 2024, the council reflects the UAE’s commitment to embracing technological advancements and fostering innovation. It will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s digital future, spearheading AI and advanced technology initiatives to drive efficiency and sustainability. The council is tasked with formulating and implementing policies and strategies related to research, infrastructure, and investments in artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi.
