Abu Dhabi, UAE – November 26, 2024 – The IGF Leaders Dinner, held at the awe-inspiring BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, celebrated unity, collaboration, and innovation, bringing together distinguished leaders from India, the Middle East, and beyond. Against the backdrop of the intricately carved Mandir, a symbol of interfaith harmony and cultural understanding, the evening fostered meaningful dialogue and networking among key stakeholders.
The Mandir, inaugurated earlier this year by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stands as a testament to the vision of strengthening ties between nations. The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, and His Holiness Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, who shared profound messages on leadership, spirituality, and unity.
His Holiness Pujya Brahmavihari Swami urged attendees to reflect deeply, stating:
“Each one of you is a leader in your own space, but I ask all of you to pause, give space to your heart, and listen to its calling – through this practice, you will rise even higher.”
He further emphasized the Mandir’s significance:
“This Mandir is a shining example of what can be achieved through mutual trust and harmony. It reflects the prayers of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the generosity of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
His Excellency Sunjay Sudhir highlighted the cultural and spiritual importance of the Mandir, stating:
“This temple is not only one of the most visited sites in the UAE but also a symbol of harmony and visionary leadership, brought to life through the shared aspirations of Prime Minister Modi and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”
Manoj Ladwa, Founder and Chairman of IGF, echoed the evening’s theme of trust, noting:
“Trust is the foundation of the flourishing India-UAE relationship and the bedrock of this great Mandir. It symbolizes the harmony between humanity and nature that both nations strive to uphold.”
The evening also featured thought-provoking discussions on leadership, holistic health, and community well-being from eminent personalities, including:
• Faisal Kottikollon, founder of Tulah, who advocated for the revival of ancient wellness practices:
“Ayurveda teaches us that the body, mind, and spirit are inseparable. Modern medicine must embrace this holistic perspective for true healing.”
• Suhel Seth, cultural and leadership expert, who emphasized the spiritual dimension of wellness:
“Good health begins with a good soul. The BAPS Mandir is an oasis of spiritual healing in today’s world, reminding us of the vital connection between spirituality and well-being.”
