Dubai: Dubai Malabar Arts and Culture Center announced the awards for 2021, in which individuals who have made an impact in the commercial, social, and media areas are honoured. In the event ‘Snehapoorvam 2022’, the Awards will be presented. The event will also celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the Malabar Arts and Culture Center as well as the UAE’s 50th National Day.
Iqbal Marconi, a prominent businessman, has been nominated for the Business Excellence Award this year, while Ballekere Santhosh has been nominated for the Business Personality of the Year Award.
Aparna Kurup (NEWS18 Kerala) was selected for Media Legendary Award while Vaishakh (GOLDFM) was selected for Personality of Radio.
The awards for cultural and charitable activities in the name of Cherkalam Abdullah Sahib will be presented to Abdullah Madimoola (Social Committed Personality), Advocate Ibrahim Khalil (Outstanding Performance in Social Work), Anwar Cherangai (Golden Signer), Achu Mohammad Thalankara (Social Heroes in Charity).
The Ahmed Ahmed Mash Media Award will be awarded to Raju Mathew (Printed Media Award Malayalamanorama), Arun Parat (Television Award NEWS24), Mahesh Kannur (Presenter of Radio-RADIOASIA), Nashif Aleemia (Vibrant Media Personality Live).
The awards will be presented on January 14 at the Proud 2022 event hosted by the Dubai Women’s Association. The event will also be attended by prominent figures from the Arab world and the socio-cultural industry.
The event’s preparations have been completed as informed by the organizing committee members including Leading Arab Advocate Tariq Nasir Saleh; Dubai Malabar Arts and Culture Venue General Convener, Ashraf Karla; Nasser Muttam, Basheer Pallikkara, Nasir Koduvalli, Noushad Kanyappadi, TA Haneefa Koliadukkam, Rafi Pallipuram, Salam Kanyapadi, Salam Kanyapadi ECH, Shahina Nawaz, Nasser Koli and Muneer Berike.
