Sharjah: At the Sharjah International Book Fair, Lamia Latif revealed ‘In Search of Words,’ a collection of fifty-one English poems. MK Muneer, MLA, issued a statement. The first copy was given to Ismail Meladi, a writer and senior media official at the Dubai Municipality.
Lamia , a postgraduate student, is the daughter of Latheef Edakudi (Sharjah), an expatriate from Iringannur, Nadapuram, Kozhikode. She is now working on a collection of a hundred poems. The event was kicked off by Muslim League State Secretary Shafi Chaliyam. The occasion was presided over by A. P Moideen Koya Haji, Acting President of the Kozhikode District KMCC.
KP Muhammad, the District General Secretary, welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The event was held as part of a visit by district workers from Kozhikode to the Dubai KMCC stall at the Sharjah Book Fair.
