Dubai: On Saturday, Dubai’s Crown Prince voiced confidence in the Emirate’s continued preparations for Expo 2020, which is scheduled to begin in October this year.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the work teams are expected to double their efforts to increase readiness to organize an outstanding Expo 2020 Dubai. He went on to say that he is confident that everyone would be able to complete the task to the best of their abilities. He also said that they also have the means, knowledge, and highly qualified teams they need to fulfill their objectives.
His remarks came during a meeting in Dubai with members of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management. He was briefed on the efforts being made at the municipal and federal levels to safeguard everyone’s health and safety as the huge six-month event approaches.
He was also informed about the latest advancements in the Dubai Health Authority’s vaccination campaign.
