Safari Group, a name that has gained significant popularity in the UAE’s retail sector, is set to open its second mall in the country, this time in Ras Al Khaimah. The construction of Safari Mall, which spans 200,000 square feet, has been completed. The grand inauguration, led by His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, is scheduled for December 26, 2024, at 4 PM. The announcement was made by Safari Group Chairman Mr. Aboobacker Madappat during a press conference.
The mall will feature a diverse range of sections, including a hypermarket, electronics, department store, furniture, bakery, hot food, and a food court. Mr. Madappat mentioned that the remarkable success of the Safari Mall in Sharjah served as the inspiration for launching in Ras Al Khaimah, and he expressed confidence that, like the Sharjah Safari Mall, the Ras Al Khaimah outlet will also gain overwhelming public support.To celebrate the opening, visitors to Safari Mall, from December 26 onwards, will have the chance to win AED 100,000 through the ‘Visit and Win’ promotion, without needing to make a purchase. This two-month-long promotion will offer AED 50,000 as the first prize, AED 30,000 as the second prize, and AED 20,000 as the third prize.Additionally, a promotion giving away 5 Suzuki Jimny cars will be part of the opening celebrations. Customers who make a purchase of AED 50 at Safari Hypermarket will receive a raffle coupon, which can be registered through the “My Safari” app to participate in this mega prize scheme.Safari Mall has redefined the UAE’s mall and shopping center industry by introducing unique concepts, said Safari Group Managing Director, Mr. Zainul Abideen, at the press conference.
